With the increasing development and growth of adjudication, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution processes, NZDRC is a growing and dynamic organisation.

 

The majority of positions that become available are in administrative and support roles. Although generally not a prerequisite, we welcome applications from individuals with legal training and prior knowledge or experience of dispute resolution and conflict management.

 

Applicants should note that we have very limited opportunities for individuals specifically wishing to develop careers as adjudicators, arbitrators, or mediators. Almost all of our panelists have been invited to join NZDRC because of their extensive experience and knowledge of the law and dispute resolution. However, from time to time we recruit people who exhibit outstanding legal and dispute resolution knowledge and who we believe have the dedication, the passion and the personal skills to become highly credible and respected DR service providers. These are unique opportunities for unique people who are given the opportunity to develop their dispute resolution skills safely under the guidance and mentorship of our most experienced professionals.
